Welcome to Scrapbooking!
Scrapbooking is a creative way to preserve memories, photos, and text so they can be shared with family and friends. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned scrapper, come and learn new scrapbooking techniques (and new twists on old ones!), and create beautiful layouts in which to keep and protect your photos and memories. You’ll play with Patti’s scrapbooking “toys,” learn the lingo, and experiment with different cropping and embellishment techniques. Do you have to be an artist to scrapbook? Absolutely not! But in scrapbooking we learn about art in the process, we preserve memories through journaling so they can be passed on, and we discover our own creativity through the simple act of cutting and gluing!
Weekly hands-on classes are based on two unique layout styles that you will learn to make. You’ll view demonstrations of tools and techniques that you will try out before working on your layouts and get tips on using different products you see in the stores. We’ll also preview the upcoming week’s layouts. The first class will feature a double page snow theme layout as well as a single page portrait layout. Join Patti in her “stress-free zone” and begin to create!
Patti will provide everything you need for your layouts, but participants must bring the basic tools and supplies named on the list you will receive in advance of the class.
