Amy Schachter
Amy draws on her many years of working as an early childhood educator, as well as her past experiences "both tragic and sublime" when making her pieces. She uses simple shapes and strong linear definition to design the structure of her abstract figures, often incorporating found objects into her constructions to give them a playful quality.
