Acrobatic Arts: Tiny Tumblers
Our little ones are introduced to physical literacy, coordination, creative movement, and basic acrobatics skills in this fun program. We’ll explore acro dance skills like forward rolls, handstands, and pre-cartwheels as well as locomotive skills (jumping, hopping, skipping, etc.), balance, movement concepts, and social skills. All levels are welcome.
Note: This course is designed for students to attend without their parent or caregiver in the classroom. If your little one needs your support in the classroom please look into our "Creative Movement & Tumbling" class which is designed for a parent or caregiver to attend with their child.
Girls: please wear a leotard, or leotard with dancer shorts. Boys: please wear shorts and a tank top or t-shirt that will allow for going upside down. Everyone: long hair must be tied back and bare feet are best! Please bring a water bottle into class with you.
Kaitlyn Knapp offers students a rich and engaging experience in her dance and acro dance classroom. Her classes provide a fun atmosphere where children and teens can develop self-discipline, focus, confidence, and lasting friendships. In the process of learning the skills presented, students are transformed into dance artists and well-rounded athletes. Kaitlyn is a graduate of Plymouth State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance Management and Instruction, and she is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor.
